NEW HEALTH CONSCIOUS AROMAT ON THE MARKET!
This new aromat in a green packaging is aimed at allowing the consumer to have a healthy alternative with less salt and ingredients. it has Garlic, Onion, Bay leaf, Tumeric. This version as no Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Msg is a flavour enhancer that has been used for decades. Although generally recognised as safe, Monosodium Glutamate has been associated with reactions such as headache, flushing, sweating, chest pain, weakness. Aromat has defended the reputation of MSG by pointing out that it permits cooks to reduces use of salt by 40%
On Sunday morning, 16 September I headed out to Rosebank Market in Rosebank, Gauteng to take part in the lifestyle activation which gives consumers ideas on how to use the new Aromat Naturally Tasty in their meals through live demonstrations, interaction with recipes and ask questions.
leading the demonstrations were two amazing, successful Chefs, Les da Chef and Luyanda Mafanya.
Les da chef prepared Fully loaded avo bowls and Zucchini Fritters. The Zucchini Fritters were my favourite. I like them best as a light vegetarian meal with tzatziki and a greek salad but Chef da les used his own extraordinary way of serving with a dollop of sour cream and sauteed grated beetroot and finished with the new Aromat naturally tasty. go to his twitter page @Chefdales for the full recipe!
The cook extraordinaire Luyanda Mafanya prepared the Spicy Yoghurt Chicken Salad and French toast egg in a hole and bacon sandwich. My favourite was the Spicy Yoghurt Chicken Salad it had quality ingredients and everything went well together!
The meals were made perfect with the new Aromat naturally tasty! it was a fun day and learnt a lot from everyone involved in the day.
