The official countdown to the Cape Town Experiences Awards 2019 has begun!
Are you ready for the event of the season?
Nomad Bistro & Bar comes alive from 19 to 28 February to host the inaugural Cape Town
Experiences Awards 2019, an event in proud partnership with DrinksFeed. The Cape Town
Experiences Awards has recognized 600 industry pioneers and self-starters that make Cape
Town so great and this celebrated awards ceremony will feature the talent, vision and service
excellence of the finest in the industry.
With input from the Cape Town Experiences community, the judges have drawn up an extensive list
of candidates for nomination.
Every nominee has to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Consistency and excellence must be part of the brand through every aspect of the experience.
- The owners and team should demonstrate total passion for the business.
- There should be contribution for betterment of the industry.
- The quality of the experiences should be paramount.
Out of 600 nominees, the CTEX anonymous panel of judges, convened from 4 esteemed media
companies, will select 120 winners, with 20 winners announced at every intimate gala
ceremony.
Each ceremony will be a red carpet gathering of industry professionals with national award
winning hosts, comedian Kolping Mbumba and local fashion icon and entertainment
entrepreneur Sachi Okada.
The public is invited to join in for READER’S CHOICE VOTING which will make up 40% of the
final decision and over 3,500 votes have already been cast for some of your favourite brands
Never has there been such a variety of outliers brought together for one event – from radio
presenters to fashion photographers, rising star chefs, tech entrepreneurs – you name it!
The aim of the Awards event for 2019 is to seek out and highlight the incredible achievements
of individuals, groups and businesses that encourage and embody city pride and unity, acting as
role models in and ambassadors for the Mother City .
