A song of hope and empowerment for Women's Month

We all need an inspiring soundtrack... And this is it for this month
                                                                                                                                        Baleka (Run Away)

Lizz Kalo says she wrote Baleka as a sort of “self-help” tool for the days that she needed to run away from her own and peoples toxicity. Deciding not to allow anything or anyone to keep or put her down. It's a reminder to self that “you’re it”, capable and deserving of every win regardless of any struggle faced.

“I believe that Africans should start telling African stories their own way, artists and producers have the ability to use their voice to speak to issues that move us.” said Auth3ntiC.

Baleka is the first song Lizz Kalo wrote towards her upcoming E.P titled Y.O.U, executively produced by Auth3ntiC and also forms part of the DYOT project, ‘Do Your Own Thing’ was created from the foundation of hip hop, which is his first love, and mixed with other genres like Afro pop, R&B and more.
