End of Season 2 goes to Holden Manz - Merlot Reserve, Franschhoek - 2016 (750ml)
I must say this season has been my favourite. I have had no pressure at all, every wine was carefully selected with many many notes I personally made. normally I have a thousand events to go to and I take very quick time to choose but this time around I have more free time which means more Wine time!
Congratulations to the Winemaker Thierry Haberer for creating this masterpiece. Thank you.
Upfront mulberry, blackberry and dark cherries followed by subtle spice aromas provide an in depth nose with nuances of elegantly integrated wood maturation. Smooth, elegant, sexy and luscious! This is pure 100% merlot. Just the way I like it!
