“Nothing Feels Like Home”
Summer is never over on the African continent. During pre-lockdown music travels, African Pop sensation Kyle Deutsch touched down in an icy Stockholm Sweden, and of course he couldn’t leave the melodic capital of the world without jumping into a studio. It was here that he would write what we consider to be Deutsch’s biggest Summer Smash yet.
His patients call him Dr. Deutschmann, family and friends call him Kyle, and his passion for music has inherited him the name Kyle Deutsch.
Born and raised in Durban, Kyle Deutsch is a man of many talents but making music far outweighs them all. A true believer of music uniting nations, Kyle Deutsch has become a household name and is a true and proud ambassador of South Africa’s democratic and cultural history & truly does bring people together through his music.
Award winning Doctor, MTV Africa award winner, and Previous top 5 Idols contestant (2014) who has since shared the stage with international stars such as Justin Bieber, John Legend, Diplo, Sam Feldt as well as collaborated with with some of Africa’s biggest artists and producers to date, including Cassper Nyovest, Shekhinah, Kwesta, Kelly Khumalo, Distruction Boyz, and Sketchy Bongo to name a few, it is fair to say Kyle is a current cornerstone in the African music industry.
For his latest single release titled “Home," Deutsch has teamed up with a fellow African star, Born in Gweru (Zimbabwe), Shona SA.
Shona SA is an artist that lives and breathes his heritage. Through his tribal ancestry in the birthplace of music and rhythm, Tichaona Ponde has evolved into Shona SA from his previous alias "Kharmatronix," a tribute in life and being to his family tribe, the Shona.
Through years of earning his stripes as a producer, working on various styles such as hip hop, EDM and progressive house, "Kharmatronix," went on to release two huge singles between 2016 and 2017 on national radio:

After a rebirth and a change into a new direction from EDM, Shona SA was born and has since honed in on his skills into a craft and a perfect mix of rhythm and melody with an unmistakable African flavor that pays homage to his roots whilst experimenting and merging the styles of Tech House and Techno that are current today.
Shona SA is enjoying current successes from his releases since 2019 working with big names like DJ FRESH (SA) , Afrotraction , Saint Evo (Kenya) and has had positive support from both international and local Afro House labels and DJs. His current big release, Mukuru with DJ Fresh, has stormed the airwaves, receiving positive remarks from listeners and artists alike.
