ACCIDENTALLY VIRAL premieres at Redhill Arts Festival

 The CoLab Network, in association with AEJ Music, is proud to present the premiere staging of Accidentally Viral at Redhill Arts Festival on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st July, starring Adrian and Emma-Jean Galliard.

The talented father and daughter singing duo shot to fame in 2020 when on Easter Sunday of that year, when the world was gripped in lockdown, the pair uploaded a video of the Andrea Bocelli/Celine Dion hit, The Prayer, to Facebook.

The video was an instant hit, taking Adrian and then 11-year old Emma-Jean entirely by surprise. The video was uploaded to Facebook just before lunch, and by the end of the day it had 17 000 views. A few days later it was picked up by UK website, The Music Man and it quickly climbed to 6 million views.

Their sudden and unexpected fame kicked off a fairytale musical adventure complete with international acclaim and comical incidences of mistaken identity.

Accidentally Viral is their brand new, debut show that takes the audience on their unexpected musical journey with them as they share more of the story of how the pair went “accidentally viral.”

The show features fan favourites such as Hallelujah, Time to Say Goodbye, You Are The Reason and of course, the song that started it all, The Prayer, alongside famous Andrew Lloyd Webber hits such as Memory and Music of the Night and more, while the endearing duo share fascinating insights into their experiences along the way.

Accidentally Viral – An Unexpected Musical Journey is produced by The CoLab Network in association with AEJ Music.

Written and directed by Kirsty Galliard, with musical direction by Kevin Greenberg, the show runs at 65 minutes with no interval.

 It will delight both young and old alike with its beautiful music and compelling storytelling alongside the pair’s trademark banter.

“We are excited to be performing for Joburg audiences at The Redhill Arts Festival,” says Adrian, “Looking at the line-up, we’re in excellent company!”

“The Redhill Arts Festival will be our debut performance of the complete show, but definitely not the last,” Emma-Jean (now 13) explains.

Following #RedFest2022, Accidentally Viral will have three performances at the prestigious Hilton Arts Festival in September and has already been booked for several other performances around the country.

Accidentally Viral is on stage at Redhill Arts Festival for two shows only in the Len Miller 1 Auditorium;

Saturday 30th July at 17h00

Sunday 31st July at 17h00
