Better Be At Brookdale Estate 24Feb!

Brookdale Estate invites guests to take part in the excitement of the harvest season in the Cape! On Saturday 24 February 2024, bring your sunhat and gardening gloves and join winemaker Kiara Scott Farmer at 07:30 for an early start in the vineyards.

After trying your hand at harvesting a block of syrah grapes, sit down to enjoy a hearty harvest breakfast at The Bistro at Brookdale Estate. Start with a complimentary glass of Mason Road Cap Classique and a continental breakfast spread, followed by the main course of chef Gary Coetzee’s unbeatable Brookdale Eggs Benedict. After breakfast guests will return home with a signed bottle of Mason Road Chenin Blanc as a gift from the winemaker.

For those who wish to spend more time on the estate, the Tasting Room will be open where you may try the full range of Mason Road wines. In addition to the Cap Classique, Brookdale produces four medium-tier wines under the Mason Road label, comprising of a Chenin Blanc, a Rosé, a Syrah and the newly released red blend, the GSM.  The Mason Road wines have gained a stellar reputation for excellent quality in the mid-price range, both the Mason Road Chenin Blanc (2022) and the Mason Road Serendipity Rosé having won Gold in the 2023 Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Awards. (The cost of the Mason Road Wine Tasting of four wines: R80 per person)
