A winter tradition returns. Fairview’s much-loved Shiraz & Lamb Shanks Evening is back on Friday, 15 August—and if past years are anything to go by, seats won’t last long.
Chef SJ Nel will present a heartwarming feast of flavour in four suitably indulgent courses complemented by a curated selection of favourites from the Fairview cellar. The pièce de résistance will, of course, be accompanied by Fairview’s flagship Shiraz, a robust, spicy, velvety wine that pairs exquisitely with succulent fall-off-the-bone lamb shanks.
There’s a certain magic to pairing a gorgeous, bold red with a rich, slow-cooked dish on a winter’s evening. Add underfloor heating, a crackling fire, and the inviting glow of Fairview’s Goatshed Restaurant, and you have all the makings of a deeply satisfying night out.
